Bjarni is great!!!! We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our tour guide! They were knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and made the entire tour enjoyable from start to finish. They shared fascinating stories and information while making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. You could really tell how passionate they are about what they do. The tour was well organized, engaging, and exceeded our expectations. We learned so much and made some great memories along the way. High LIGHTS of our Trip! BG from Thor Travel provided us with the most authentically Icelandic experience! Knowledgeable, friendly, funny , and personable ! While you can’t control Mother Nature, I’m pretty sure BG has some pull with the weather. Literally going the extra mile (further out of town) to ensure less interruptions and darker conditions for optimal viewing. Five Star Experience I had a fantastic experience with Thor Travel. I spent a week with friends seeing many of the magical sites in Iceland, with the Northern Lights being the highlight. BG was our guide/operator. He has a wealth of knowledge about history, geography, culture, language, cuisine etc. He made our trip seamless. Simply fantastic! Wonderful tour with a wonderful guide. Got to see and experience so much in our eight days. Our guide Bjarni Gaukur was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he also delivered it with a lovely sense of humour which was much appreciated by our small group of 12. Everything Cared For Before the tour Bjarni Gaukur impressed us with a discussion at our hotel with every question answered in full and with humor. From beginning to end Bjarni's work ethic, personality, personal care and obvious love for showing off his country made this a top tier tour without the extra price. I've been to Iceland multiple times for work and pleasure. This trip was by far the best. I personally recommend Bjarni. Tour guides make or break the trip/vacation. Iceland complete tour with BG Our tour guide was Bjarni Gauker so pleased we booked a small tour bus. The bus was a Mercedes with comfortable seats excellent suspension ( the roads are so bumpy) BG was fantastic he quickly made the group interactive. Amazing trip and fantastic guide We were very pleased with Thor Travel and BG our host and guide. Every evening BG updated us on the days sights, the scheduled stops for the next day including the weather forecast and clothing recommendations which was very helpful and appreciated! BG made sure the van was clean and our seatbelts were always fastened. We loved his stories, our daily treats, and his bonus stops. He imparted his knowledge with good humor and encouraged questions. We would highly recommend Thor Travel and BG. We started the trip with a tour guide and ended it with a friend!
