You only need to take the most basic personal belongings with you for our day tours. The good idea is to bring a belt-pack or a small backpack, but by no means is that a requirement.

Do I need to be on time at the stops?

Yes, this is really important. We have up to 19 passengers on board and it makes the tour so much better for everybody if we are all on time. We make long and good stops at each place, so you should have enough time to explore the Icelandic nature.

If I buy both tours, will I get discount?

If you are interest in more than one tour please send us a lineto info@thortravel.is and we will be in contact.

Is lunch included?

It varies between tours if there is meal included.

What should I wear on your tours?

Weather in Iceland is notoriously unpredictable. For tours in Iceland during summer, bringing a light rain jacket or a softshell is always a good idea. For winter-season, a warm jacket, good walking shoes, a cap or a hat and gloves are essential accessories to combat cold weather. Layering your outfit is the best way to tackle sudden changes in weather. Walking poles and spikes under your shoes might be necessary. Windbreaker / Rain clothes can often be very good top layer in Iceland since it is quite often windy in Iceland and makes it colder than the temperature says.

Can I see Northern light in your tours?

It is not possible to see the Northern Lights in the summer. From beginning of August through April, though, we can either arrange for you a private hunt for the lights or you can book a seat on our Northern Lights tour during the Northern Light season. Please send us a line to info@thortravel.is for further enquire.
